LEWISVILLE, TX – The driver of an 18-wheeler sustained only minor injuries after an accident on south I-35 between FM 407 and Valley Ridge Boulevard on Wednesday.
According to WFAA, no other vehicles were involved. The crash caused major delays on Wednesday night, as the semi-truck caught fire. All southbound lanes of I-35 in the area were temporarily closed.
The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
