DALLAS, TX – A 2-year-old child was run over by her teenage relative in what authorities have deemed a tragic accident in Dallas on Friday night, according to NBC DFW.
The collision happened in the 4800 block of Parry Avenue, as the 17-year-old driver of a pickup truck was leaving a family driveway. Unbeknownst to them, a 2-year-old girl began to run towards the vehicle when she saw her relative leaving.
The child was then run over by the driver and died as a result.
Authorities have filed no charges in connection with the crash and have ruled the collision an accident.
