25-year-old Frisco man dead after crashing into sign, pillar in Grapevine

GRAPEVINE, TX – A 25-year-old man from Frisco was killed in a single-vehicle collision in Grapevine early Tuesday morning, according to NBC DFW.

The accident occurred on the exchange between FM 2499 Road and State Highway 121 at about 2:45 a.m., when a 25-year-old driver was unable to navigate a curve in the roadway. He crashed head-on into a sign and a pillar.

The driver, a resident of Frisco, was pinned within the wreckage and was unresponsive when authorities discovered him.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.

No other people were injured in the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the collision at this time.
