5-vehicle car crash leaves one dead in Dallas

DALLAS, TX – One person died in a multi-vehicle accident on Friday on the 2500 block of Masters Drive.

According to NBC DFW, the crash happened when the driver of one vehicle crashed into four other cars shortly after 11 p.m. on Friday.

Charles Cardoso, 23, was driving a 2018 Ford F-150 and crashed into a Mercedes in the middle lane of Masters Drive. The Ford pickup truck swerved into oncoming traffic and hit two more cars. It then crashed into a Chevrolet suburban before coming to a stop.

The passenger inside the Ford pickup truck, Daniel Gonzalez-Quintana, died of his injuries later at a hospital. None of the other people involved were injured.

Police charged Cardoso with intoxication manslaughter.
