ARLINGTON, TX – A 79-year-old woman was hit and killed by a pickup truck while crossing the street at Turner Warnell Road and Mazourka Drive on Tuesday.
According to CBS DFW, the victim was identified as Mercedes Lorenzo Chaparro. Police believe Chaparro crossed Turner Warnell Rd heading south when she was hit by a Ford F-150 pickup truck. The driver of the truck stopped and rendered aid. No criminal charges are being filed at this time.
Police do not believe alcohol was a factor in this accident.
