GRAND PRAIRIE, TX – An 8-year-old died and three other people were injured in a car accident on westbound I-20 on Saturday morning.
According to NBC DFW, the accident happened when three cars crashed into each other when approaching slower traffic in the westbound lanes. The 8-year-old was a passenger in an SUV and died later at a hospital. The driver of the SUV was hospitalized.
Two other people involved in the crash are also currently hospitalized. Police have not said whether charges will be filed.
