Crash on Cooper St in Arlington injures 3

ARLINGTON, TX – CBSDFW reports that a two-vehicle crash left three people injured on Cooper Street in Arlington on Tuesday.

The crash took place shortly before 3:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Cooper Street, near Commercial Boulevard. Authorities say a driver of a Nissan Juke struck a Dodge Charger after trying to make a U-turn.

Two people in the Nissan sustained serious injuries. One passenger had to be extricated from the car following the impact. That passenger and another from the Nissan were then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

One person in the Dodge sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No other details are available at this time. Police continue to investigate.
