FedEx driver killed after crashing from freeway onto road in Dallas

DALLAS, TX – A FedEx truck driver was killed when the vehicle flew off the highway and landed on the road below in Dallas this weekend, according to CBS DFW.

The accident occurred in the 400 block of I-345 (Julius Schepps Freeway) at about 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, when a driver operating a FedEx truck and trailer lost control of the vehicle, then collided with a guardrail. The vehicle then crashed onto Cesar Chavez Boulevard.

The driver, who has yet to be publicly identified, died at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
