Garland man dies after crashing car on LBJ service road

GARLAND, TX – A man died Sunday after crashing his car into an impact attenuator on the 3400 block of LBJ Service Road, causing the car to catch fire.

According to NBC DFW, the accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 19. The man, who has not been identified, crashed his Chevrolet Tahoe into the attenuator and then into concrete.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating why he crashed.
