Man dead, 2 hospitalized following crash on Hwy 287 in Ennis

ENNIS, TX – A collision on Highway 287 in Ennis led to the death of a man and the hospitalization of two other people on Sunday, according to NBC DFW.

The collision occurred on Highway 287, near the Texas Motorplex, at about 11:30 a.m., when the driver of a Cadillac ATS attempted to drive across the roadway at a crossover.

He reportedly failed to yield the right of way and was then struck by a Chevrolet Silverado.

The driver of the Cadillac died at the scene.

Two victims in the Silverado were hospitalized with non-critical injuries.
