Man dies in fiery wrong-way crash on I-30 in Arlington

ARLINGTON, TX – A driver has died in a fiery wrong-way crash on Interstate 30 near the E Loop 820 early Monday morning, police say.

According to CBS DFW, the victim was identified as a 35-year-old man. His name has not been released to the media yet.

Around 3:15 a.m. on Nov. 1, the driver lost control of his vehicle, a 2021 Chevy Impala, while on the 1900 block of East I-30. He hit a concrete median and his car caught fire. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe speed and impairment were factors in the crash. No other people were injured in this crash.
