ARLINGTON, TX – A man crossing the street in Arlington was fatally struck by an SUV early Friday morning, according to NBC DFW.
The crash occurred in the 3500 block of E Division Street at about 5:30 a.m., as a man was walking across westbound lanes of traffic. The victim was then hit by the driver of an SUV.
The man, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.
The driver remained at the crash site and is not suspected of having been under the influence.
Authorities believe that the victim was not using a crosswalk when the accident happened.
