Mother of three, teenager die in head-on crash on FM 6 in Collin County

COLLIN COUNTY, TX – A mother of three died in a head-on collision on Farm-to-Market Road 6 on Sunday morning on her way to church, police say.

According to NBC DFW, the mother was identified as Amanda Willoughby, 27. A 19-year-old, Benjamin Andrus, also died. Andrus was driving the other vehicle involved in the crash.

Willoughby’s 7-year-old twins and a 4-year old, all girls, are being treated at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.

Willoughby’s husband was already at church when he got the call that his wife was in an accident.

Police are working to determine the cause of the crash.
