Pedestrian fatally struck by driver in poorly-lit area of Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, TX – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a driver in Fort Worth last week, according to NBC DFW.

The accident happened near the intersection of Eagle Parkway and the North Freeway at about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, when a driver leaving work struck a victim near the service road.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.

The driver claimed that he did not see the pedestrian before the crash due to the poor lighting in the area.
