Suspected drunk driver and 2 passengers injured in downtown Dallas crash

DALLAS, TX – Three people were injured in a suspected drunk-driving crash in the downtown Dallas area this weekend, according to NBC DFW.

The crash happened on S Cesar Chavez Boulevard and Canton Street at about 3 a.m. Sunday, when a Jeep collided with a four-door sedan.

A 24-year-old woman and a 44-year-old woman, both passengers, were taken to the hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. They were expected to live.

Their driver, who is believed to have been driving under the influence, sustained minor wounds in the crash.
