BALCH SPRINGS, TX – At least two people were injured in a crash on I-635 at Lake June Rd on Tuesday afternoon, police say.
According to NBC DFW, the crash was caused by a shooting that happened just before the accident. Just before 5 p.m., officers arrived on the scene to find a flipped car in the roadway and a man who was shot laying in the street. The man was airlifted to a hospital.
A child was in the flipped car and was taken to a local hospital. Police are investigating.
