Woman facing manslaughter charges after fatal, fiery 6-car accident in McKinney

MCKINNEY, TX – A woman is facing charges of manslaughter in connection with a fiery accident in McKinney last week involving six vehicles, which resulted in the death of one man and the injury of three others.

According to the McKinney Police Department, the crash occurred at the intersection near 380 Lake Forest Drive at about 8 p.m. Thursday night.


The accident involved six vehicles in total, with one of them catching fire. The driver of the flaming vehicle, 45-year-old Eugenio Villegas, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three people were taken to the hospital for the treatment of undisclosed injuries. Their identities were not immediately available.

39-year-old Tiffany Woodruff was charged with intoxication manslaughter following the crash.

Woodruff was taken to the Collin County Jail, and may face up to 20 years behind bars, and a fine of up to $10,000.
