DENTON, TX – A 33-year-old man died Friday night when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed, then was run over by another vehicle.
According to NBC DFW, the victim was identified as Anthony Stephen Minich. Minich was riding his motorcycle near East McKinney Street and Laney Circle when he crashed around 8 p.m.
After crashing, Minich was ejected from the motorcycle and landed in the street. An oncoming car veered to avoid the motorcycle and did not see Minich, and ran over him. The driver of the vehicle stopped to render aid and cooperated with police.
The driver is not expected to face any criminal charges.
