EL PASO, TX — According to KTSM, at least one person was hospitalized Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle collision in El Paso’s Lower Valley.
El Paso Police responded to the scene at Gateway Boulevard East and North Zaragoza Road, shortly after 6:00 a.m.
The circumstances behind the crash were not immediately clear, but at least one of the involved vehicles overturned.
All lanes at the intersection, as well as the North Zaragoza Road offramp, were shut down during the emergency response.
Authorities confirmed one patient was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
No other information has been provided at this time, but an investigation was being handled by the El Paso Police Department’s Special Traffic Investigators (STI).
