EL PASO, TX — According to KTSM, two men were killed early Saturday in a fiery single-vehicle collision off Interstate 10 near east El Paso.
The El Paso Police Department’s Special Traffic Investigators responded to the scene on the eastbound interstate near Lomaland Drive, at about 2:00 a.m.
Officials said a 2007 Subaru Impreza was heading eastbound on the interstate at a high rate of speed when its driver lost control. Moments later, the car veered off the roadway and struck multiple trees and other fixed objects along the shoulder before catching fire.
Two male occupants in the car, aged 28 and 24, were pronounced deceased at the scene. It was unclear which victim was the driver.
