2 ejected, seriously injured in solo-car crash near east El Paso

EL PASO, TX — According to KTSM, two people were injured, one critically, early Sunday due to a collision in east El Paso’s Indian Ridge South neighborhood.

The accident occurred in the 11200 block of Pebble Hills Boulevard, near the intersection with George Dieter Drive, shortly after 1:30 a.m.

El Paso Police said a 33-year-old man was behind the wheel of a Chrysler 300 when, for reasons still being investigated, he veered to the side of the roadway and hit a curb. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn and eject both the driver and his passenger, a 37-year-old man.

Medics rushed both patients to an area hospital, where the passenger was listed in critical condition.

No further information has been made available at this time, but the El Paso Police Department’s Special Traffic Investigations (STI) unit was handling the case.
