EL PASO, TX — Two people died Tuesday morning after a crash involving a semi-truck in the Valley Creek North area of El Paso’s Upper Valley, reports El Paso Times.
The fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Artcraft Road and Upper Valley Road, in front of a Little Caesar’s restaurant. It was first reported at around 9:30 a.m.
It was not immediately clear what led up to the wreck, but El Paso Police said the front-end of a semi-truck struck the side of a white passenger car.
Two people were pronounced deceased on the scene, confirmed officials. No information on the victims has been disclosed, but photos taken at the scene show New Mexico license plates on the crushed car.
All westbound lanes of Artcraft Road, in addition to the north and southbound lanes of Upper Valley Road, were blocked off during the response and initial investigation.
