4 hospitalized after multi-vehicle wreck on Global Reach Dr near ELP

EL PASO, TX — Four people were injured, two critically, Saturday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash near El Paso International Airport, according to KFOX14.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Global Reach Drive and George Perry Boulevard, just northeast of the airport (ELP). El Paso Police responded to the scene after receiving a call at around 12:30 p.m.

Few details have been released at this time, but three vehicles were involved. First responders transported four people to a local hospital. Two of those patients suffered injuries considered life-threatening, confirmed dispatchers.

All southbound lanes of Global Reach Drive were blocked during the emergency response and initial investigation.

As of this writing, the El Paso Police Department has not disclosed the cause of the accident. It remains unclear whether any charges are expected to be filed.
