EL PASO, TX – An elderly man crossing the street was fatally struck by a driver in El Paso earlier this week, according to CBS Austin.
The crash occurred on Gateway West Boulevard and Lee Trevino Drive on Tuesday night, as 70-year-old San Antonio man Lorenzo Castano was walking across the roadway.
He was then struck by the driver of a 2019 Chevrolet Camaro who was unable to avoid hitting Castano.
Castano was pronounced dead at the scene.
