EL PASO, TX — According to CBS4Local, eight people suffered injuries in a collision Sunday evening on Interstate 10 near central El Paso.
El Paso Police and El Paso Fire crews responded to the scene on the Exit 22B eastbound offramp to Juárez. Dispatchers first received the call shortly before 7:00 p.m.
Authorities have not disclosed details on the circumstances behind the event, but three people were critically injured and transported to an area hospital. Five other patients sustained minor injuries, but it was unclear whether they were all sent to a hospital.
At this time, no pending charges or citations have been reported.
An investigation remains underway.
