EL PASO, TX – A child was critically injured after being struck by a car in El Paso’s lower valley on Saturday evening, KVIA reports.
The accident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. at the intersection of North Yarbrough Drive and North Loop Drive. At the time of the crash the sun had already set, causing reduced visibility.
Police did not release the child’s age or gender. They also have not indicated if the driver remained on the scene.
