EL PASO, TX — According to CBS4Local, a Sun Metro bus was involved in a multi-vehicle wreck Wednesday morning on U.S. Highway 54 near central El Paso.
The accident took place on the outside lanes of the southbound highway near Montana Avenue (East Paisano Drive), shortly before 8:00 a.m.
Officials have not shared details regarding the circumstances behind the event, but the El Paso Fire Department said three vehicles, including the bus, were involved.
It was unclear whether any passengers were on the bus at the time, but no one has been reported injured.
The left lane and left shoulder were closed in the aftermath, causing traffic to be backed up to Trowbridge Drive.
