Crews respond to two-vehicle wreck on Hunter Dr in east El Paso

EL PASO, TX — According to KFOX14, a two-vehicle accident Wednesday morning shut down a section of Hunter Drive in east El Paso’s Hacienda Heights neighborhood.

The crash happened at the intersection with Monterrey Drive, near El Paso Community College – Valle Verde Campus. It was first reported by the El Paso Fire Dispatch shortly before 7:00 a.m.

It was not immediately clear what caused the collision, but all northbound and southbound lanes of Hunter Drive were blocked off as crews responded to the scene.

The closure remained in place for about an hour after the initial report. By 8:00 a.m., all lanes were reopened to traffic.

At this time, no injuries have been reported.
