EL PASO, TX – One person died after a semi-truck struck his vehicle late Friday morning at a busy El Paso intersection.
Police responded to the crash at 11:43 a.m. at the intersection of Gateway North Boulevard and State Line Drive, which is just south of the border with New Mexico.
The investigation indicates that an 18-wheeler struck a 2020 Hyundai Elantra when the latter vehicle entered its path.
The driver of the Hyundai died after transport to the hospital. Authorities have not yet released his identity.
The truck driver did not sustain injuries in the crash.
