EPFD crews respond to crash on I-10 EB offramp in central El Paso

EL PASO, TX — A vehicle wreck Friday morning partially blocked an Interstate 10 exit ramp near central El Paso’s Durazno neighborhood, reports Diana Gomez, KFOX14 traffic reporter.

The accident happened on the ramp connecting I-10 eastbound to U.S. Highway 54. It was first reported by KFOX14 at 8:26 a.m.

At this time, officials have not released details on the cause of the crash, but the offramp’s right lane was closed as a result.

Footage taken at the scene shows a fire truck and one other emergency vehicle responding to the scene.

A major traffic backup was reported in the area.


It remains unclear whether anyone was seriously injured.
