EPPD responds to pedestrian crash on Fort Blvd near central El Paso

EL PASO, TX — According to KTSM, a pedestrian was hit by a driver in the afternoon of Friday, July 22, on Fort Boulevard near central El Paso.

El Paso Police were called to the scene in the 2000 block of the road at Piedras Street, in the city’s Summit Place area.

It was unclear what led up to the incident, but the EPPD’s Special Traffic Investigators were at the scene.

As of this writing, no information has been shared regarding the extent of the victim’s injuries.

Officials did not say whether the driver stayed after the crash. No arrests or pending charges have been reported at this time.
