Hit-and-run leaves driver dead in El Paso

EL PASO, TX – A 67-year-old man was killed in El Paso Tuesday after being struck by another driver who fled the scene, KTSM reports. 

The accident occurred on Loop 375 near Pan American Drive around 6 a.m.

The victim had recently entered the highway in a 2006 Ford Ranger pickup truck when police believe he was hit by a second vehicle.

After the collision, the Ranger struck a concrete barrier and fell off the highway, resulting in the death of the driver.

Police are currently searching for the other driver, who they believe was driving a Ford F-150.
