Jackknifed semi-truck closes section of I-10 near Anthony

EL PASO, TX — Two separate crashes, including a jackknifed semi-truck, closed Interstate 10 in both directions near Anthony Monday morning, according to KFOX14.

The Texas Department of Transportation reported the semi crash in the area shortly before 5:00 a.m., followed by a second wreck at 5:26 a.m.

It was unclear what led up to either accidents, but KFOX14 crews said they witnessed the second vehicle travel into a ditch.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes were blocked in the aftermath and did not reopen until 9:00 a.m.

At this time, it remains unclear whether anyone was injured.
