Motorcycle crash in El Paso kills 1

EL PASO, TX – According to Nationwide Report, a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle left one person dead in El Paso on Saturday.

Authorities say the crash took place just before midnight on Saturday on US-54 near Transmountain Road. 32-year-old Luis Baltazar Torres was riding a GSXR-R750 motorcycle north on US-54 when he attempted to drive between two vehicles ahead to change lanes. He lost control of the motorcycle and struck a 2008 Honda Civic from behind.

Torres was thrown off his motorcycle and killed in the impact.

Police continue to investigate this incident. No other details are available at this time.
