Multiple people hospitalized after driver crashes into El Paso beauty salon

EL PASO, TX — An elderly woman crashed her car into a west El Paso beauty salon Thursday morning, injuring herself and three others, reports KFOX14.

Authorities responded to the scene at Xxtremes West Salon, in the 5200 block of North Mesa Street, shortly after 10:30 a.m.

An early investigation shows a woman in her 80s lost consciousness before crashing into the front of the business.

The female driver and another woman inside the salon suffered minor injuries and were transported to a hospital.

Two other people were taken to be checked for minor injuries.

Video taken at the scene shows a red car fully inside the building. The door appears to be broken and glass debris can be seen on the ground.
