VAN HORN, TX – A man from El Paso was killed and eight others were injured following a seven-vehicle crash in Van Horn on Sunday afternoon, the El Paso Times reports.
The victim was driving a 2016 Peterbilt truck-tractor on I-10 when he failed to control his speed while merging. His truck then struck a 2017 Freightliner truck-tractor which caused a chain-reaction that eventually involved seven vehicles.
Eight others sustained injuries in the crash and were taken to Culberson County Hospital for treatment. No further information is currently available.
