Trucking crash kills 1 on I-10

SIERRA BLANCA, TX – According to The El Paso Times, a two-truck collision killed one person on Interstate 10 on Saturday night.

The crash took place shortly before 11:00 p.m., just east of Sierra Blanca on Interstate 10, officials say. 36-year-old Kulwinder Singh was driving his truck east on I-10 when his vehicle struck another semitruck from behind. Singh’s truck caught on fire in the collision, trapping the driver inside the vehicle. Singh was killed in the fire while the other truck driver involved, 65-year-old Reymundo Abilio Tejada, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the incident.
