1 dead, 2 injured in pedestrian hit-and-run on I-30 in Ft. Worth

FORT WORTH, TX – Authorities in Fort Worth are searching for a hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a pedestrian and injured two others last week.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the accident happened at I-30 and Forest Park Boulevard at about 2:55 a.m. Thursday, when the driver of a black or silver van or SUV ran over three pedestrians. The driver then fled the scene without stopping to render aid.


One of the victims, a female, died as a result of the crash.

The remaining two victims sustained undisclosed injuries as a result.

FWPD continues to search for the driver and to investigate the accident. They are asking those with any information on the crash to come forward and speak with them at 817-392-4892.
