2 dead after suspected drunk-driver causes fiery, rear-end crash in Ft. Worth

FORT WORTH, TX – Two people died on Friday night following a fiery collision on West Loop 820 in Fort Worth suspected to have been caused by intoxicated driving, according to NBC DFW.

The crash occurred on W Loop 820 and Chapin Road at about 9:30 p.m., when a man suspected of driving under the influence, identified as 41-year-old Bryan Christian Taylor, crashed into the back of another vehicle.

The rear-ended car overturned, then burst into flames. Two occupants of that vehicle died at the scene.

Taylor was taken to the hospital, then into police custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

He is facing two charges of intoxication vehicular manslaughter. His bail was set at $50,000.
