Fort Worth PD searching for hit-and-run driver who ran over and killed man on I-35

FORT WORTH, TX – Fort Worth authorities are searching for a hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a pedestrian on I-35 early Sunday morning.

According to the Fort Worth Police Department, the accident happened in the 1100 block of I-35 northbound at about 4 a.m., as the victim, who was described only as a white man, was reportedly walking in the roadway.

The victim was then struck by a driver who then fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

The pedestrian died as a result of the accident.

Police continue to search for the driver and are asking those with any information on the crash to contact the department at 817-392-4885.
