Man fatally hit by train near E Lancaster Ave in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, TX – A man was fatally struck by a train near East Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth yesterday evening, according to information from CBS DFW.

The crash happened near the 6200 block of E Lancaster Avenue at around 5 p.m., as a male pedestrian was reportedly walking near the railroad tracks. He was then struck by an oncoming train.

The victim, who was not immediately identified, was declared deceased at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash at this time.
