FORT WORTH, TX – A man is dead after he was struck by a hit-and-run driver, then dragged by a second vehicle along a highway in Fort Worth late Friday night, according to CBS DFW.
The collision occurred in the 2000 block of East Loop 820 S at about 11:30 p.m., when a male pedestrian was struck by a driver. That driver then fled the scene.
The victim was hit by another car, then dragged for several feet before the driver stopped.
The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, died at the scene.
Authorities continue to search for the initial driver at this time.
