LA MARQUE, TX – A 32-year-old man trying to cross the street in Galveston was fatally struck by an SUV on Sunday night, according to the Galveston County Daily News.
The collision happened in the 2300 block of FM 1765 Road at about 9:20 p.m., as La Marque resident Christopher Burrough was trying to walk across the street.
Burrough was then struck by an SUV and died.
The driver remained at the scene and has reportedly cooperated with the investigation. They have not been charged with a crime at this point.
