SAN LEON, TX (GALVESTON COUNTY) – At least one person was killed and multiple others were injured during a rear-end collision in Galveston County this weekend, according to KHOU.
The accident occurred on Highway 146, near Main Street, at about 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, after one driver crashed their car into the rear of another.
One victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, was brought to the hospital in Houston, where they later succumbed to injuries sustained during the accident.
Multiple other people were hurt as a result of the collision, though further details were not immediately available.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
