Semi-truck and 3 cars crash in Texas City, leading to 1 injury, fuel spill

TEXAS CITY, TX – One person was injured during an accident involving an 18-wheeler truck and three other vehicles in Texas City yesterday morning.

According to the Galveston County Daily News, the collision occurred on northbound I-45, near Holland Road, at about 11:30 a.m.

One victim, whose identity has yet to be released, was taken to the hospital with non-critical wounds.

An oil spill resulting from the crash led authorities to close the northbound direction of the interstate for about 4 hours.
