Several injured, man facing charges after alleged street racing crash in Galveston

GALVESTON, TX – A man is facing multiple charges following an alleged street racing crash that led to the hospitalization of several people on Friday night, according to the Galveston County Daily News.

The crash occurred in the 8500 block of Seawall Boulevard, as multiple vehicles were reportedly racing on the roadway. One of those vehicles went over the edge of the seawall.

Multiple people were taken to the hospital for treatment after the collision.

21-year-old Galveston man Ronald Alexander Henriquez was taken into police custody. He is facing one charge of highway racing causing serious bodily injury and two counts of highway racing leading to injury. His bond was set for $80,000.

Authorities continue to investigate the crash, and have stated that further people may also be facing charges.
