SANTA FE, TX – A woman died after she was run over in a driveway at a home in Santa Fe following an alleged argument on Saturday morning, according to information from The Galveston County Daily News.
The collision happened at a home in the 6200 block of Avenue T near 28th Street before 4:22 a.m., when the male driver of a truck ran over a woman in the driveway following what witnesses described as an argument.
When authorities arrived at the scene, the victim was unconscious and not breathing. She was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
Authorities are working to decide if the man will face criminal charges in connection with the crash.
The identities of the victim and driver were not immediately released.
