3 people injured in E Harris County head-on collision

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Three people were injured, one of them critically, following a head-on collision in east Harris County this weekend, according to KHOU.

The accident happened near the intersection of FM 1942 Road and Garth Road on Sunday night, when a Dodge Challenger and a Hummer collided head-on.

The female driver of the Dodge was pinned within the wreckage for a time. After being extricated by emergency crews, she was airlifted to the hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.

Two occupants of the Hummer were hospitalized with non-critical injuries.

The identities of the victims were not immediately available.
