HOUSTON, TX – A 3-year-old child was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident in north Houston last night, according to a tweet by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened in the 4800 block of Aldine Mail Rd and was reported by authorities at 7 p.m.
A driver struck a 3-year-old child, then fled the scene. There is no information at this time on the suspect’s identity.
