HOUSTON, TX – At least one person was killed in an early-morning accident on the North Freeway last week, according to the Houston Police Department.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes of the North Freeway, near Gulf Bank Road, at about 1:15 a.m.
At least one person was killed in the crash.
Authorities shut down the southbound lanes of the highway for over two hours as they worked the collision. The roadway was reopened by 3:39 a.m.
The identity of the victim and the cause of the crash are not available at this time.
